I maintain a membership in a couple local credit unions as well as USAA. It varies who has the best rate, right now it's my primary credit union at 1.24%

Wow, that is crazy high for a credit union!

...and that is even better than the best I could find around here, nice!

Where is "Borger"? Sometimes the rates you can find depend on where you are - for example I found my best rate of 1.6% at a credit union near me, but is is just for residents of my county.

North Texas located near Amarillo. Would like to close on a 1le pretty soon from bomnin. I know the dealers can find a bank but I doubt one with low interest rates.

What kind of Dealer Add on fees does Bomnin have? I have a 1.74% for 60 here in Houston through a credit union.

The credit unions I use are both local so wouldn't be much use to you, that's why I only named USAA. They're a bit higher right now, 2.49%, which probably isn't worth it just for half a point in interest. Would only save about $700 over the entire life of the loan. Keeping everything at your own local credit union has some value.

Reason I ask is I was looking at one in florida that had a heavy discount like Bomnin, yet when I got more info they had $595 processing fee and $995 Apprearance protection package nonegotiable whether you wanted it or not. So even they they had the lowest advertised price it washed out when you take into account all the fees.

I had about 1.9% offer from my credit union last july when I bought my 2016 SS... but I ended up taking GM's 0% offer for 72 months.

So the finance guy asked how much money I want to put down.. since I knew the interest rate was going to be 0% I said "I don't want to put anything down on it"... they said "fine!" (of course you need good credit) I said go ahead and throw the tax, license and 100k warranty on that loan as well!

I drove my SS for 7 weeks before paying a penny for it.

technically i'll be "underwater" for a while but the money I had planned on using for down payment is still in the bank... but I'm planning on keeping my Camaro so there is no hurry to pay it off, especially at 0%. plus years fly by when you old like me... one year done already!

My credit score is 850 and in looking forward to see of a dealer offers 0%. There isn't much reason they won't but who knows with the games they play.

Uhhh. All Camaros have 0% for 72 months right now, unless you are taking advantage of Chevrolet Loyalty Rebate or Mustang conquest it makes much more sense to take 0%. Unless they aren't offering it in FL.
