Upcoming Incentives?
I'm curious what everyone's thoughts are about the possibility of upcoming incentives. With the anemic Camaro sales numbers and the rumors of big 2018 Mustang upgrades, it seems to me that GM will be forced to give some incentives to move their cars. But I haven't been following Camaros long enough to really know what will or won't happen. I'm currently waiting to buy a 1LE - partly because I want to buy at the lowest possible point and partially because I'm in the midst of buying property.
So, my question is, does anyone think there will be incentives coming soon? And, if so, does anyone have suggestions on how to best take advantage of them? Thanks! |

I spoke with my local dealer today and they believe that we should be seeing some incentives coming March 1. What they are and on what model they can't tell me.

Speaking to different dealers this week...
Look for Tags on Tuesday, may be big, may be small, may be none, may be on some cars but not others. I think they generally go on cars based on time on the lot. The last camaro tags I saw were like $1500. Generally those cars move out faster. I got a small lesson on how the tags work, anyone feel free to correct me if I got anything wrong. Nobody seems to be able to accurately predict which cars will get them. Anyways, they can disappear fast, so first come, first served. Also, look for new promotions at the first of each month. |
