Want to see lowered with 20mm Spacers?
I've done a lot of changes to the car after eight days of ownership! But, without a doubt, the biggest change was installing the GM Lowering Kit and 20mm wheel adapters. I wanted to get some better pictures up in the General section for those considering this mod. I had plenty of people asking me for side shots showing where the tire sits in relation to the fender now. I did have to trim the non-threaded end of the wheel studs to install these adapters, so it's not 100% reversible. You can find more information here - http://www.camaro6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=449451 I'm waiting for an appointment for an alignment at my local dealer, and once I get the wheels positioned correctly again (I think the rear has too much camber), I'll consider adding 25mm rear adapters instead. I think they could come out just a hair more to match the fronts. I didn't run the offset numbers, but the stance with the new offsets looks very similar to last gen ZL1s.
I also added the GM front splitter, painted the brake calipers with G2 Caliper paint and the rotor hats gloss black, installed BigWorm marker light Gun Smoke film, removed the fender emblem and rear SS emblem, tinted the windows 18% and had Clear Bra installed on front, hood, mirrors, behind front wheels and in front of rear wheels. I also clayed, polished, and sealed the paint...like I said, it's been a busy week! https://c2.staticflickr.com/2/1482/2...c28b23e0_b.jpg https://c2.staticflickr.com/2/1603/2...54283b67_b.jpg https://c2.staticflickr.com/2/1671/2...fff5ac09_b.jpg https://c2.staticflickr.com/2/1476/2...cb04b944_b.jpg https://c2.staticflickr.com/2/1586/2...bdb022e6_b.jpg https://c2.staticflickr.com/2/1642/2...43bf3673_b.jpg https://c2.staticflickr.com/2/1618/2...05420a91_b.jpg https://c2.staticflickr.com/2/1481/2...b91456f0_b.jpg |
Great stance. You're right, it's been a busy week for you. White is super popular, but not a personal favorite of mine on a Camaro -- yours looks awesome though!

Sitting beautiful!

Looks great!

Looks great man , the lowering kit will be my next mod , after I get the fascia extension out of the way (it's on its way) . I have also only had my car for about 20 days. And have already done the bigworm markers / tailight tints , painted badges from Lupe, tinted windows, ordered the splitter, and a new set of rims.
Haven't even made my first payment yet ... this is a sickness ! Took the car to two car gatherings this weekend and was surprised how many people have never seen a 2016 , most knew all about them but never actually seen one. I love the way your car sits .. the stance is just right |
Where did you get the spacers and how much? Can you post the ordering specs so that I can get them for mine?

That would look great on a white car! I'm trying to avoid blacking everything out on a black car , gotta have some sort of contrast when it's all said and done. The black car / blacked out everything look has been done to death in my opinion ... not the route I want to go . |
Your car looks great and honestly white (and possibly silver) is the only color the gray painted split spokes look good on.

What a beautiful car. Very clean and well done!

This car is gorgeous! Because of this thread I have to buy some OEM split spokes like these to run some all season tires on and store the standard 1LE wheels when its not summer.
