Installed GM Lowering Kit and 20mm Spacers!

So I got around to installing these last night. I installed 20mm wheel adapters front and rear to space the factory wheels out a bit. I had to trim down the nubs on the wheel studs. I know I'll end up with an aftermarket set down the road, but right now, I'm REALLY loving these wheels in this color. I also painted the brake calipers red and rotor hats black and added some white Brembo decals. Lastly, I installed the GM Lowering Kit on the car, which comes with shorter springs and new shorter and revalved struts and shocks. Its supposed to provide about 20mm lower ride height, although currently it's only about 15mm down. I only drove it about four miles so far - I suspect it will settle down a little more in time. It literally drives just like stock - which is perfect for me! Some quick iPhone pics for now - I'll get some good ones this weekend!

Looks good. Do you have any before pics? Would be nice to compare the side by side of before and after of the lowering kit.

I assume you mounted extended studs?

20mm spacers look good!

(Nebermind! I see you used spacers with integrated studs...)

Pretty Wild. That is what I been dying to do for some time.

The Split 5's are a fantastic looking wheel. Pushing them out make them Rock!
Great job. Too bad they don;t fill out the wheel well from the factory.

The car is noticeably lower. It will settle a bit more.
More pics and an update after the weekend.

I love it.

Rides like stock and the drop about an inch or so? Wonder how much GM would charge to lower it.. Did you get alignment afterwards?

Looks awesome!!

No clue on price. I have my own shop but it took 2.5 hours. Could get down to 2 now that I know what to do.

I have not but only plan to drive it home and get one this weekend. Having trouble locating alignment specs. Didn't wanna go to dealer..
