Does Any one paintball? Where has it gone?

I used to be a hardcore speedball player... i miss it everyday

started out with a tipppman 98.... of course.

then my buddies shocker 4x4 (shoebox) the marker that changed it all..

then an impulse...

and finally my baby.... decked out 03 ultimate vision shocker 4500 maxflow

and sometimes an angel IR3 Fly... not 4 me.

SMARTPARTS ALL THE WAY

in 05' i sold my markers and since then i have been kicking my self ever since i miss the sport so much, i constantly find my self watching Dynasty vidieos on youtube...

what has happened to the sport?
here in Cleveland it seems dead.

there are at least 12 or so proshops i know of that are closed.

i also see that dynasty is shooting DLX Luxe's.. look sharp.. but go for $1,500?
i has heart broken that the were no longer using Smart Parts but i found that Luxe is a branch of S/P

just wondering if any one out there plays? update me? what happened to the sport?

I used to. Never owned a gun, just rented Tippmann 98s from the paintball field.

It's kind of an expensive sport...probably why it's not very popular right now.

True, but a car can get you places. Paintball's more of a recreational sort of thing.

Love to paintball never have done speedball mostly scenerio. Montana really doesnt cater to speedball,like to watch it though. I run a ION and Tippman depending on the scenerio. I believe the recent failure in the economy has had a big affect on the sport.

Love It! I play only scenario though, Decked out Tippy X7 and a Tactical ION. I play at a local church that has a 25 acres of woods, free to play bring your own supplies.
