my entire car has PPF on it. Its the quality of installation thats important, more than the quality of material. It's not impossible to DIY (there are people on here who build cars in their garages) but you need to know how to apply PPF and that takes practice and experience.

DIY PPF on the front bumper will be difficult as a first timer. I would recommend taking it to a pro and having it done. There is a reason there are not any "I PPF'd my car at home" threads on any car forums. It is not an easy task. You need the right tools as well.

Several threads on the topic already.

I had PPF installed on my car by two different professional shops (6 years apart), and they both stated how difficult the front end was. There is no way an inexperienced amateur can do an adequate job with this in a typical garage and a very limited set of tools.

LMK if you want the highest quality PPF for your car... all precut like the one linked in the video below. Its NOT an easy task, but my friend owns the shop where we wrap the cars we track. I will ask him if he is open to precut the film and roll it to be shipped in a tube.

Click this link to see the latest ZLE Full PPF wrap.
