Previous owner spray can my wheels black

Can anyone recommend a good spray can silver wheel paint. Also how many cans to so all 4?

As with anything paint related, while quality products are important, prep is what makes it turned out either great or "good enough". sanding, priming, clear, ect.


As far as brand, im sure any dupicolor will do. Im sure there are others brands as well that are just as good.


Funny enough, ChrisFix did an outstanding video on YouTube about painting wheels. Id check it out

I personally would plasti-dip. They have metalics that look pretty decent. Otherwise take it to a powdercoater and for $50/wheel (or so) they'll strip it and put a proper finish on the wheels.

When I plastidip I used 3 cans for primer and 2 more for color.

Powdercoating must be alittle more affordable in VA. Best price I found at a reputable place is between $100-125/wheel for strip/coating. Usually add another $25/wheel if minor curb rash needs to be cleaned up.
