Track rats and spirited drivers-how long before you changed plus/wires
48k miles. Tracked. Lots of spirited mountain runs. Time to do plugs (past due actually based on cylinder 7 misfire). At what point did ya'll change your plugs and or wires. Already have mine in hand and will be doing when the car come out of hibernation but I'm curious if I should have been more proactive and done them sooner.

I currently have 38k miles and 37 track days(about 8k track miles) on my '21 SS 1LE. I've only ever done consumables like tires, brakes, and fluids so far but I did change out the battery last month as it was just starting to go. Pretty amazing how much abuse this thing takes without even a hiccup so far and I'd be interested to know what interval others are doing plugs/wires also on their track cars.

I have changed my plugs three times in 36K miles but I also have 14630 track miles as part of my equation. I also used the Katech plug wires that I wrap in a Kevlar fire-proof sheath with Marine epoxy heat shrink for better grip on the boots. I only recommend the Brisk RR14S plugs for the ZLEs... LMK what you have and I can make a more specific recommendation.

Only did my wires due to the coil relocation kit. I change my Brisk RR12S plugs pretty frequently to be safe (cheap insurance) at my power level.

I had to replace cylinder 5 and cylinder 4 wires because the headers cooked them. I ended up with a misfire on cylinder 5 that i could see it arcing into the header tube. I checked them all and i could see discoloration in number 4.
