Any way to reduce or disable creep on the 8-speed auto?

Hi everyone, I’m currently driving a 6th gen Camaro 2SS.
I had a quick question regarding the 8-speed automatic transmission.
When I’m in D and release the brake, the car creeps forward quite noticeably.
I understand this is normal behavior for a torque-converter automatic.
That said, I was wondering if there’s any way to reduce or disable the creep behavior,
whether through vehicle settings, drive modes, or even TCM tuning via HP Tuners.
I’m not complaining — just curious if there’s an option or approach I might be overlooking.
Thanks in advance for any insight.

Do you have any aftermarket components, say, a throttle body, throttle controller or a custom tune?

The behavior you are describing sounds like the normal behavior of every auto trans vehicle I've ever driven. I'm not an expert on transmission design and tuning, but the engineer in me says that any car with an auto creeps forward because the transmission is "in gear" when the brake is released and the creep movement is simply a function of base RPM of an idling engine.

I'm not sure why you'd want to tune that out, as the creep function is normally one of the main benefits an auto has over a manual transmission (slow movement in traffic, in and out of parking spots, in reverse, etc) and you can make it stop simply by having light pressure on the brake pedal or shifting the trans to neutral.

i do the same in my manual. 1st gear off the clutch and drag the brake. at 5mph its the speed the idle rpm matches the gear ratio. if i use the brake to slow to 4mph the idle will kinda drag against the brake.

Maybe he has a tune or parts that increased the intensity of the creep more than desired.

The reason I'm thinking this is that in stock form the car behaves just like any other automatic, so it'd be surprising if someone would find it too much, unless this is their first non-manual vehicle (unlikely, based on his post) and they aren't using your technique, bishopts.

This was exactly my thought as well, never found it to be a problem but more of a "feature"...
