New to ys 2024 LT RS Convertible

My Wife and I added a new to us 2024 LT RS 6-speed to our family today. We bought it with 843 mikes on it, so basically brand new. Today is our 5th Anniversary, so it was a good to celebrate a new car! I'd recently purchased a 2023 2SS and we both loved it so much, we wanted a second one. With the V6 and 6-speed, it is a really fun car to drive. It kind of makes me regret not getting a stick in the SS, but with a bum left knee and a junk right shoulder, I can't always drive one. I sold my last manual vehicle in 2020 and was having a blast banging gears this evening! Anyway, here is "Good" and "Evil".

A dynamic duo

Sorry about your shoulder and knee troubles, but this automatic is a pretty good transmission, make sure you "test" Performance Shift Mode often (blip the throttle to the floor real quick, as if it were a footswitch, or start taking turns at 0.7-0.8g to activate), it'll make your smile that much wider.

I definitely like the auto, its a great transmission. I really do miss driving a stick though. From roughly 1995-2020 that's all I had. My first car in 1989 was a 1951 Plymouth Cranbrook with a 3 on the tree. I learned to drive in my Dad's Jeep CJ-5, then CJ-7. After college in 95, I atarted driving Jeeps, all sticks until my current Gladiator in 2020. Unfortunately, 30+ years of wear and tear on an old football injury has my left knee just about shot. Had my shoulder fixed a year ago with three torn ligaments and a torn biceps. The repair is doing very well and has given me back the range of motion to shift. Lol, we'll see how long that lasts.
