They should make it a 4-door coupe like the the BMW 4-series gransport. Opens up the market of possible customers massively when it has four doors. Doesn’t the Cadillac ATS with four doors use the same chassis?

🤮 it’s a Camaro lol. I hope they don’t simply use the name for marketing purposes like Ford did with the Mustang. Just make a new model/brand if that’s what they want.

Muscle cars have a limited market. Especially nowadays when people are all about technology, self driving, etc. Camaro had a good run, may she rest in peace.

AGREED!! Camaro and 4 doors DO NOT belong together...at all.

2 door, I.C.E V8 or V6(for those that like it) coupe or convertible with 6sp or 10sp...or LEAVE it dead!

I agree, but I don't want that Ferrari sounding 5.5L engine of the Corvette... Keep Camaro a "Muscle Car" with big displacement (Hell, bring back the 7.0L (427cid))... Put it on the latest platform, offer All-EV (500 eHP), V6 (400HP), V8 (500+HP) and V8 Supercharged (750HP)... V8 displacement no smaller than 6.2L...

Make the back seat "useable" by normal human beings... Keep the "American Muscle Car" look, leave the "mid-engine Euro-Sports Car" look to the Corvette...

GM Authority is the National Enquirer of automotive news.

AGREED with all you said. I like your power numbers for the different engines. Leave the mid engine for the Vette. Bring it back as a Muscle Car or leave it gone. Don't bring it back as something stupid like the Mach-E or 4 door EV or some type of combination of those two... The Camaro started and ended as a Muscle Car, so as much as I'd like to see it back, if it's not an I.C.E only 2 door Muscle Car then it'll just be an embarrassment to the Camaro nameplate.

Hopefully GM wakes up (i.e. "becomes 'less woke'") and figures out there is still a market for American Muscle that doesn't sound like a "Hoover Vacuum Cleaner"... My neighbor across the street just came home with a brand new Mustang GT 5.0L... At least I can sleep at night knowing I can still take him with my 5 year old Camaro on te 0-60 and 1/4 mile... And a whole lot more if you throw a bunch of curves in....

Right!!??? There is definitely still the market for the American Muscle whether or not GM wants to admit it.. I tell you what, I know I WOULD DEFINITELY take a 5 year old Camaro over ANY new Mustang! . Last fall just before I put mine away, I went on "one last drive" before winter, was at a stop light and some high school aged kid rolled up beside me with his brand new(still had in-transits) baby powder blue GT 5.0, knew he wanted to race...I contemplated not doing it because it would severely embarrass him...poor guy...but couldn't resist the urge and if course it was over within the first 10 feet, so it was the best waste of gas that I've done to date with my car......

With the way the current administration is basically halting all EV mandates, I would home GM wouldn't be dumb enough to come out with a Camaro EV. Give us another V8 redesigned and in a manual!!!! SHOCK THE WORLD!!!

If GM wants to build a product that young people will like and be able to afford, they should start making cellphones.
