Spacer needed for lt5 tb?

I installed my lt5 throttle body only to find out I had an lt1 spacer, so held the tb up to the engine and test fit it to see what id have to bore out. It bolted right up, is that normal on the lt4's? I know on my ss I needed an adapter to get it to bolt up.

Your Lt5 TB has already been modified so no spacer is needed. Look at the bolt holes, they have been elongated so no adapter is needed. You will just have to port the snout so the blade will open .
