Tuner in Raleigh Durham NC Area?
Does anyone have a recommendation for a good shop to tune ZL1 1LE M6 for mostly stock for road course HPDE events...CAI, Borla exhaust, CAT delete.

There is RPM out in Garner and Mayhem Motorsports in Raleigh.

For those bolt-on mods, I'd suggest KingLT1 or Megahurtz or Jannetty here on the forum for a remote tune. Those guys have a ton of experience on this platform.

Thank you both. I’d prefer someone local to work with in the event there are any issues to resolve. We also have 3 other gen6 (ZL1 A10, SS1LE M6, SS1LE M6 w/ built motor) that we track. Not looking for a one a done solution necessarily.

Local doesn’t mean they know what they’re doing on this platform. I’ve found out after nearly 9 years into this platform that if you can find an LT expert you should use him regardless of location. And remote guys will be happy to check a log for you down the road…definitely not a “one and done” deal at all. So here’s another vote for Megahurtz or KingLT1.

Thanks for the kind words!
I agree, myself or KingLT1 can handle pretty much anything remotely from a tuning aspect. But I understand some vehicle owners want to be able to visit and speak with the tuner and shop face to face. Or maybe they just want it all handled in one place. I personally have zero interest in running a shop which is why I remote tune and partner with other shops to tune for them. I don't ghost my clients and I'm very responsive. I work with shops, dyno shops, individual clients and very hands on owners like Josh. They all want something different and as a remote tuner you have to give the client what they need. I have the luxury of not having to tune X amount of cars to stay in business or run a shop with overhead. Anyhow, not trying to sell myself. Just wanted to say note all remote tuners are like the horror stories you hear where you get a file and then they ghost you because its "just good enough" and they already got your money.

Honestly I was thinking like you when I first got into modding my car but due to some differences in opinions I went with Megahurtz with my tuning needs. I have to say when needing assistance he was always on point and answered all my questions. He even dealt with my dumb ideas and worked with me every step of the way. Nowadays I may talk to one of the local tuners BUT when its time to get the work done the emails start flying with Megahurtz. I won't let anyone else dabble with the tune.
