PTM Modes Selection
Does anyone have info regarding getting to PTM modes more easily? Yeah everything is track mode and then 2 times on tc about a second apart but I have to try the double tap on the traction control button 20+ times before the secondary PTM modes menu pops up, it always just turns off tc and or stabilitrak takes forever for PTM modes.

even after hitting the mode selector the modes don't come up for the secondary menu, seem's to take alot of attempts. Just must be a quirky typical chevy issue

I've found that the timing of the 2nd press relative to the 1st press is what seems to be critical in bringing up the PTM menu; not that I get it right every time, LOL.
Start at one end the spectrum (2 times with extremely short interval between presses), and if it doesn't work, pause a few seconds and try again, this time with a slightly longer interval. Repeat with longer and longer interval between presses until it works. Congratulations, you found the interval between presses that is needed! |

yeah, mine doesn't usually work so I have do it it multiple times, my guess is each car might be a tad bit different in timing.

Also make sure that cruise control is turned off (no cruise control icon on the dash). It will prevent PTM from activating.
In my case timing of pressing it has pretty broad margin, so never had an issue there.
