New mods coming

I have been loving my 23 1LE A10. But I have started to do some upgrades to the engine now. I am installing a BTR 220 cam and DSX flex fuel kit. I want to see what the cam will give in power before I do anything else. So I will have a cam, and Roto-Fab dyno then I will dyno on E85 and give the results if anyone is interested. So stay tuned. Also stock my 1LE made 384hp, 397tq.

Very nice. If you’re doing the work yourself, I’d really send the heads to katech for at least their cnc port job. It’s quick and cheap.

I will do the heads just don't know which ones for sure yet. But that will most likely be the last thing I do to it. I have the MSD intake, just need to get me a NW tb, and headers for the next step in this build process. I will look at the Katech heads for sure. Thank you!

One of the things I installed was the GlowTie. My son saw this last year and asked his mom to get this for me as a Christmas present. So since I was doing the cam I also installed this. I wasn't sure if I would like this or not. I have to say I think it looks good and is a nice touch to the front end.
Finishing thing up I have to finish the P3 install, then we will get it on the dyno and get new numbers.

Nice, let us know how you like the cam. I have that btr 220 and parts sitting in garage but been debating about going up to the btr 225.

Is that the oem glow?

I had the parts sitting in my house for about a year also before the install happened. I was finishing the build of my new engine for my Trans Am first, then started on my 1LE.

Hopefully here in a few days I will have the new numbers.

No, I think my wife and son bought it from Wildhammermotorsports.

Was finally able to get the the 1LE on the dyno and tuned. Same dyno different day so picked up 38hp, and 9tq. Again this is cam only. Look at what it did under the curve from about 4500 rpm. Nice gains from there all the way up to red line. I am happy with what it made again cam only. Now to see the gains with headers, and intake, and tb. Stay tuned. Also drives like stock.

Very nice! Do you have a video of the cold/warm start and idle?

Just a quick update. Headers are on, just need to tune. But I had back surgery a little over 2 weeks ago so I am down for a bit while I heal. But I promise to update when we do get the numbers for headers, then E85.
