Rear knuckle rubber line?

Hi all,

I'm trying to replace my rear springs, and I've gotten everything unbolted and removed except for the last bolt, the one I circled in red in the pictures. I can get the nut off of the one end, but I can't pull the bolt out because this stiff rubber line that feeds directly into the knuckle is in the way and will not budge. I tried jacking up the suspension assembly and lowering it all the way down, but it's always in the way.

In the video below, the guy is able to pull it out without issue but mine is installed the opposite way. Has anyone had this issue before, and how did you fix it? What even is that line? I can't seem to find it on any rear suspension diagrams I find online.

Keep that bolt in there. Remove the bolt on the subframe end.
