I saw mention of it somewhere on this forum a couple months ago; it may have been in a thread not specific to the can.

The can design looks a lot better than J&L, K&N, mishimoto, etc. FWIW I own a J&L can.

It looks great from a functionality standpoint. I also respect that they took an original approach to the mounting location; I just hope it stays warm enough in that spot to keep oil vapor and condensation from congealing (prob won't be an issue).

I have it.

Over engineered? How about better engineered. Improved's stuff is outstanding quality. I use some of their oil system components. Fit and finish is superior. Made in US too. Some customization options. I liked the look and better hoses & fittings. Easy to remove cup. Bigger capacity too incase your engine moves alot of oil. You don't want a full catch can. Yeah, it was a little more $ but some of the other brand's fit and finish is not on par. The location will stay warm due to heat from the radiator.

The baffle looks like a nice feature to make sure there’s no ingestion during high g turns

Installed the can a few weeks ago, but this was the first time of any significant driving.
This is about 300 Mike's of driving, at most, with 50% cruising the speed limit and the other 50% with some spirited driving on back country roads.

I just installed mine the other day. Great product from a quality and install perspective. And the 2nd most important thing a catch can does (ease of draining) is awesome.
