Front / Real main seals

I know the blowby is a topic talked about here often, throughout the years all I see is always "use the LS3" crank seals...

Is there anything else better than these by now?

Any updates available, seems like mine seeped oil through, even with my MM catch can.

I don't think so. My guess is you have excessive blow-by. maybe try a metco valve cover breather? I am still on the stock long block with a basic catch can, metco breather, ls3 seal, and no leaks.

So, having a breather in parallel to the catch can?

I have aftermarket valve covers which are baffled too, the catch can is connected to the valve cover already as its a MM wild.

Also, car been running for about a year like this, however just recently I started doing "racing" back to back pulls on it.

Yep...the metco's have a check valve disk so they are closed circuit under vacuum. I am confident it's helped prolong the life of my stock short because I push a fair amount of boost through it. You might give it a shot they don't cost much.

Hey king, which catch can and breather do you have? Do you have the mild or wild? And do you have just the regular LTx breather? I am wondering because I'm going to turbo here shortly

Carefully review your logs (or have King or Megahurtz do it lol) and possibly your spark plugs. If you’ve got any preignition or detonation going on, it’s going to lead to oil control and/or pcv issues. Just my 2 cents.

I just have a basic mishimoto catch can with a metco breather on the valve cover where the oil fil cap goes. The Mighty Mouse wild is essentially the same thing all in one, but you should upgrade the hoses to larger diameter for it to work properly on big power stuff. For something under 800whp the supplied lines are probably OK.
