Just got quoted $2600 by dealer for oil pan gasket
Surely this is not a reasonable price? Should I try other shops since they won’t cover it under my warranty?

Just tighten the bolts and your leak will go away. 99% of the time it’s just loose oil pan bolts. Look it up, it’s a common issue on early LT1’s. The dealer told you that you need a new gasket because that will make them more money.

My warranty was about to expire and took it to the dealer for a once over and they said there was evidence of oil on the pan but not dripping. They offered to replace the gasket under warranty. They had my car for a week and a half. What I thought was a standard drop the pan and replace the gasket is not the case. If you google it, they have to loosen the motor mounts, raise the engine, remove the starter, etc. Not knowing all this I inquired, they said there were back ordered one time use parts, plus to do this job there are 26 parts involved. There's a lot going on. I'm not surprised they are charging so much, but I'm sure another shop will bill less.

I could see that if they are changing the oil pump as well.
Here is the thing though...these engines do not have gaskets. Both the timing cover and oil pan are installed with a sealant only. You likely just need to get up under the car and tighten the pan bolts. They are notorious for coming loose along with the 2 oil cooler bolts.
