help with AA and phone calls

Sorry if this has been addressed before, on my 2019 2SS I like to use AA to play a playlist for music, but using it for phone calls never works, (they can not hear me and then we get disconnected), so is there a way to still play music wirelessly, but disable the phone, so calls would be received only thru the phone? thanks in advance for your help. I did disable onstar so I don't know if that has anything to do with it ?? Phone is galaxy A13 I have tried selecting handset on screen, but it disconnects call

You can try to change what the car as a bluetooth device is allowed to do and set it to work with audio streams but not calls, see example screenshot below with my headset configuration. Not sure if this will work, but worth a try.

Go to Bluetooth in settings, tap the gear next to the car's paired BT device (mine is named "Chevrolet Camaro"), and you'll see this screen.

Alas, it may reset every time the car connects to the phone and you may need to manually set the toggles each time... you'll have to find out yourself, hopefully that doesn't happen.

Thanks, I'll give it a try.
