1LE splitter question

Will a 1LE splitter fit on a standard ZL1?

Yes. Every piece of the ZL1 1LE will fit on the standard ZL1.

It works best that way but I have seen someone install the 1LE splitter using the standard ZL1 lower grill so it can be done.

The lower grille has slots in it that the splitter hooks into.

Depending on what you swap, you may have to change other parts to make them fit, for example: front bumper cover + dive planes + DRL-delete. Also, factory paint on the 1LE aero is matte vs. the WA384A mosaic black metallic that comes on the non-1LE coupe and convertible.

I would sell you my splitter but I'm not sure when I can get to it

I have been through this and have had all the same questions
Now that I have done it I can share

Front Splitter from the ZL1 1LE will fit but only if you change the front grill. (you can use the stock bumper cover) There are tabs that the splitter slips into under the front of the grill that the stock ZL1 grill does not have. Then you have your winglets on the sides of the splitter that you need to remove your front bumper cover and cut the markings that are on the back side of your front bumper cover to slide the clips in to mount them.
While you have your bumper off and you want the drive planes you would need to cut the marking out to fit those on also.

You don't have to change the lower grill. Someone on FB added the splitter without changing the lower grill. I didn't ask how but it can be done. I agree that changing the lower grill is the proper way though.

Alright then! they probably cut all the tabs off and used double sided tape to hold the splitter
and then did what for the winglets at the end of the splitter?
do it right and GOOD LUCK!

not to beat a dead horse but I attached picture of my conversion for the splitter part of the project

Stock grill has no openings on the bottom for the 1LE splitter to clip in (i guess you can cut the tabs and two way tape them in place) and then you need to cut and modify your bumper for the winglets.
