ZLE brakes squeal
Hi everyone,
Picked up used ZLE. Brakes are squealing, I believe both in the front and one in the back, sooo annoying, looked at the pads, lots of pad life left, not even remotely close to wear indicator. Tried braking hard after a wash thinking maybe brake dust but no buano. Now if I brake moderately then no noise or if I brake hard no noise. Just at certain pedal pressure when coming to a stop. Read all kind of stories on forums, anything from pads replacements to more aggressive to scrub the rotors to full brake replacements.HELPPPPP

Before replacing any hardware, try burnishing the brakes.

It's normal. High performance brakes. You're in the abrasive mode of friction. Bed in will put the brakes into adherent friction mode but regular street driving will put ya right back into abrasive mode. Arpad got you hooked up. But the GM procedure is a little excessive. Read this then watch the below video.
