1LE wheels stick out of the fenders

Hi,
I fitted 1LE spec wheels to my 2019 ZL1 and the front wheels stick out passed the fenders. Does anyone make fender flares (slats) like the ones fitted on a factory C7 Z06 corvette? I tried to modify factory C7 ones but they don’t fit to well.
Thanks. Anthony.

Hello Anthony,

Are you referring to rock guards? If so, there are a few companies that make them for our Camaro (including ZL1 of course). In my case, I bought the ones made by ZL1 Addons. Not sure if it's fine to post direct links to vendors on here, but if you search for "CAMARO 16-24 DELUXE ROCK GUARDS", you should find them pretty easily. They're not the fanciest, but they look close to OEM and they work fine in keeping the side panels from getting sprinkled with rocks/pebbles/debris/etc, even with the very sticky Goodyear Supercar 3R tires (that come stock on ZL1 1LE).

Hope this helps!

Hi Geoff,
I already have the ZL1 addons rock guards. C7 Z06 flares are similar to the rock guards but they all the way around the wheel opening. I’m not sure how to post a picture on this site.

Oh I see... Yeah I remember those now, and how they go around the whole arch.

I'm not sure how far you're talking about but this is normal for the tires to poke some on the ZL1 1LE. Front and rear.

That's partly why GM added the front canards to the ZL1 1LE so that air get more easily get around (above) the poking front tires and towards the wing.
