The only con is slightly reduced cabin AC performance. I loved my chiller.

What chiller do you have? I have the FI Interchillers Stage 2. I've not installed it yet, but FI Interchillers insist that the cabin air will not be noticeable different. They also recommend removing the stock heat exchanger all together as it will just cause more installation difficulty as a bypass solenoid value will be needed for a chiller on/off switch concept.

Not needed on cars that run E85 in my opinion. I’m on heat exchangers and my best quarter mile run was when my IAT2 leaving the line was 151 degrees…

Interesting!!! My IAT's never get above 155° even on the hottest of hot days! My IAT's average around 130° to 140° during the regular average summer temperatures!!! I might rethink about installing this Stage 2 kit !

The fascination on this forum with IAT/MAT is unwarranted (UNLESS you’re on pump gas, which then you need all the help you can get lol). E85 is literally magic for boosted LT engines. It pulls a ton of heat out of the combustion chamber and gives you an octane number that requires virtually no timing retard unless you have crazy high IAT/MAT. So unless you’re stuck on pump gas, I don’t think it’s worth the weight & complexity.

I agree on 1/4 mile runs, but on the street the chiller was awesome. My MAT's were never over 120 degrees.

Street or track is irrelevant. If you’re running E, a 120 MAT is no different than a 150 MAT.
