I have a 19 2SS 1LE, other trims may differ with your mirror plug configuration.



I was able to tap my mirror plug for an ignition on 12V feed. It is the purple/white stripe wire.



I have an auto dimming mirror and it uses a 12 pin plug rather than the traditional 10 pin plug used on older cars. Suspect the auto dimming/rear camera mirror may also have a 12V pin to tap as well.



Just a FYI for anyone with a 19+ car that the mirror plug is separate from the upper console and has a 12V ignition on wire. The onstar plug has a RAP wire available, but I was not getting a 12V reading but rather 9.89V which made me think it's on the canbus and may trip a BCM code if you attempt to tap it.
