Seat Memory Issues Following Seat Swap - 1LE to V6 seats

First off, whoever can provide information or a fix for this is going to be a hero. I probably need access to OEM wiring diagrams and know how to figure this out. So, here goes...

I have a 2023 SS2 1LE. Love the car. The stock Recaro seats are heated and cooled. The driver's seat is power adjustable. The car also has seat and mirror memory for multiple drivers, which is good because my wife sometimes drives the car (and she has a radically different seating position).

I swapped the drive's seat from my SS2 1LE with a V6 model seat. The bolstering was just too much for driving this with any regularity, and I am a fat man. I managed to find a brand new V6 seat from a reseller outside of the GM factory. The seats even have the same color combo; you cannot even tell it is different from the passenger's seat at a glance (leather and Alcantara v. fabric).

Right after the swap, my mirrors would not adjust. I figured out that the mirrors go through the seat harness and a box on the bottom of the stock seat. This is how they store the memory function, at least I think it has to be. So, I bought a second 1LE seat harness from GM and rewired the seat. Many pigtails were not used (for cooled and heated seats, for example), but the mirrors do work now. No lights. All good. Except, now the memory function does not work; this is where I am stuck. I would like the seat memory to still work. I cannot see why it would not work. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance.

The heated and cooled parts are part of the climate system. If the climate system is reporting a fault of no circuit connected for the seat heater and seat cooler, I'd suspect it'd trip a BCM code indicating such and thus disable the memory seat portion out of caution of a potential electrical fault.

Not a bad idea. I have those parts. I can connect them and see. I will report back.

I got ahold of a factory service manual. It turns out the non-memory cars have different motors in the seats. The motors in the memory enable seats have internals that let the car know where the seat is. I am sourcing motors from a seat with memory to swap into this and will report back. Thanks.
