driver side door keeps going down every time i open the door??

Went out to the garage today and noticed the driver side window was barely cracked. I figured i must have done something so I went and got the key, unlocked the car and opened the door. Like normal, when you open the door. The window goes down alittle and then when you close it, it goes back up. Well....not this time.

Closed the door and the window stayed down that 1/2 inch or so. Opened the door and it went down another 1/2 inch. Closed the door...nothing. did this about a dozen times and now the window was all the way down. I had to turn the car on and roll the window up. Turned the car off, got out and the window went down 1/2 inch. Closed the door and it went up. Ok...figured there was a glitch but it's fixed. Nope.

Opened the door again and same thing as above. Went down but not back up. Any idea what the issue/fix is?

you probably need to do the process to reset the window memory. try doing this. if you can't get it to work just disconnect the battery for 5 mins and it will prompt you to relearn the window memory.

My apologies for the late delay. What ended up being 1 long day was multiple long days.

I did try the above and after a few tries, it worked. I think I was just doing something wrong somehow the 1st few times. But it does make since...right before the issue I had the battery disconnected for about 2 days.

Thank you, I will try this today. Odd thing is that I never disconnected my battery, and it is a new battery that I installed last year. Only issue Ive been having is sometimes is the car does not find the remote and will not start the car until it does.
