Is there any to see top dead center for sure in these LT4?
I'm changing out my fuel injectors. Looking into intake ports, they have a little bit of coking built up at 50k miles. It is a real testament to how good the Elite Engineering catch can works. But, while I'm in here, I am going to blast it out with walnut shells. I bought a set BTR rocker trunions w/brass bearings, so I have the valve covers off. I can see the intake and exhaust rockers loose, so I guess I can reasonably assume #1 is safe.

If rockers are off it doesn’t matter if it’s TDC. All valves will be closed with valve train out.
