Exhaust Leak at Turbo on LTG?
Hi,
I’m trying to figure out if I have an exhaust leak because of a couple problems I’m having with my car Does this look like an exhaust leak at the turbo? https://youtube.com/shorts/-5R6JhIm9...b8XsLFvrCYbuDD

But I also see you have a catch can installed. What are the other problems you are having? Catch cans are not a straight-forward install on turbocharged or supercharged cars. Under boost they can provide an avenue for high pressure to get where it isn't wanted! here's a recent thread with catch cans causing problems on a 2.0T: https://www.camaro6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=625226 "The LTG PCV/fresh air system is quite complex, comprises 4 valves, 3 valve cover connections that are external and a set of internal connections along with a connection on the turbo as well as a connection on the intake to the turbo." That is normal. The seal for that shaft is a lot like a valve guide. So it isn't going to be a 100 percent seal. Basically designed to hold enough that anything that can make it out isn't enough to matter. If you have lateral movement and start seeing soot accumulation there then you might have to change the housing.
