Rear Seat Delete

I did the Schrader Performance rear seat delete this week and it looks great. Better than seats.

It definitely does not look better than the factory seats, but it looks good for a delete kit.

I believe it was around 30 pounds of weight saved…which I promptly negated by adding a roll bar lol. One thing about the rear seat delete is it definitely makes the car a good bit louder in the cabin…no question the rear seats muffled a good bit of that noise.

It looks nice but why the roll bar? The chassis itself is good to 9.0, 8.50 cage is more bars than that. I've been doing research myself lol. I'm switching to an air to water intercooler and the wife brought up safety, parachute will be at the house today lol.

A Gen 6 only requires a cage and chute at 8.99 or 150 mph, which I confirmed a month or so ago by running 151 and getting tossed out.

Because I did that for some roll racing peace of mind….more for the wife than for me…she gets nervous about the speeds I drive. And agreed that once you dip into the 8’s that roll bar will need to be replaced.

Thanks! Yeah I know about the noise, because I keep the back seat down most of the time, as I usually carry my bicycle in the trunk (yes, *in* the trunk, with the wheels off!) and I need the bit of extra clearance
