Koni GTS Coilovers just dropped

Front: 350 in/lb Rear: 1000 in/lb (divorced) front camber plates uses stock rear damper mounts weight jackers for rear springs w/ helpers Rebound Adjustable only Twin tube $2K USD they look okay. i like the helper springs in the front. tech line says they can be revalved. seems like a well engineered kit. for less than a grand more, the Viking Berserker twin tubes are probably a better deal (need front hats tho, but come with rear brackets), but these look very plug and play. rears seem fairly high ratewise. my calc for comparing divorced rate to "coilover" rate is ~ divorced / 1.65 = coilover equivalent. so, equal to 650ish rear coilover spring. MCS base spring package is 600/600 for comparison to effectively 350/650 here. i would run a ZLE rear bar for sure...

Front springs are way too soft. If I had them I'd start with no rear roll bar at all and the front stiffer than stock.

For sure. It's good to see a reputable off the shelf option tho. They take conventional springs and can be revalved as well, which is nice. I'd still go Silvers or Viking or MCS. Got a quote from AST the other day as well. But it's good to see options. Maybe others will wade in like Ohlins.

ohlins said the 5th gen camaro ones sold so shitty they wont ever think about it lol ive been down this path before talked to over 20 different brands before i decided on mcs
ohlins penske kw bc fortune moton megan godspeed etc... i heard kw was working on a kw track series for the 6th gen camaro but not sure what happen to it

Yeah it's a tough sell. The kws for C8 are way overpriced but I think are doing okay. I just wonder if people will be looking beyond mrc en masse once they start to wear and get expensive to replace. The bmw market for coilovers is huge. Maybe wishful thinking on my part.
