Low profile floor jack and a chunk of 4x4 has met all my low car and full size truck needs.

I guess I should have specified... any specific brand to get or stay away from?

Seconding that. I have this exact floor jack in blue, it works perfectly with my Camaro that I installed lift point blocks on as well as our other vehicles, and has a pretty good height range from about 3" to over 24".

Don't forget jack stands, these fit the clamp on lift blocks like a glove, won't pinch your fingers and are made of aluminum. https://www.amazon.com/Torin-Big-Alu...993057786&th=1

Sorry. I have a Daytona low profile, and an older Pittsburgh. Both have served me well, but the Daytona is a little nicer and smoother.

My 2c, though it's deviating a bit from your question.

When you boil it down, you're asking here to jack up your Camaro6. . . . I can only speak to that wrt the big Daytonas.

Others may have different experiences; but mine:

1. The lift-pads are probably great for when you have lifts; but I find them troublesome/impossible around skirts as they don't get you past the skirt to lift, and IMHO maybe a tad dangerous over jack stands.
2. For the job of lifting your car up in a reasonable amount of time, having TWO good jacks to go back and forth incrementally adjusting your jackstands far exceeds having just one.
3. To get onto the side of your Camaro, and get around skirts sufficiently, these are great https://zl1addons.com/collections/ja...-3-jack-magpad . Get one for each jack/side. Notice how far it gets you away from the contact point before getting to the circle (and where your jack touches).

I recommended this to my friend for his suburban (or whatever they call those now)... I call it the school bus.

I've borrowed that daytona, works nice, lifts really high ... but its HEAVY to carry around ! If you're just going to roll it around, weight won't matter much.
