Transmission fluid flush?

Can 2019 camaros still get these for free if you tell the dealer that you feel a stutter?

I always had one when it was around 2k RPM and doing 70 on the highway but it was seldom enough that it never bothered me to get the flush done.

The dealer is telling me I am do for a triple flush and wants $500+ for it.. wondering if I can claim stutter and get that good ol' TSB done?

The A8 shudder issue was covered in a TSB, not a recall.
Out of warranty, I doubt dealer will cover this.

Plus the 2019 was a 10 speed auto and those did not have the shudder issue

Unless they have a v6 or I4.

It’ll be out of pocket if out of warranty, best case is asking different dealerships for best price

Thanks for correcting me on this. Thought they all went to the 10 speed auto in 2019. Thanks Bumble

They just waited another year for the v6 in 2020 and never updated it for the I4 but I don’t think the I4 experienced the shudder since no AFM system but I could be wrong there

The issue with the A8 shudder was related to improperly formulated transmission fluid. The fluid attracted water, leading to corrosion of the clutch plates in the torque converter. The corroded surfaces did not mate smoothly, hence the "shudder." If corrected soon enough by replacing the fluid, you could (theoretically) get mildly corroded plates to wear smooth again, like wiping spot rust off your silverware.
