LT2 DOT fitting
I am trying to get the brake booster line to fit on the DOT Eaton fitting is there a trick I’m missing because it does not fit. Is there something that has to be done to the outside or inside of the booster line

These wonderful folks sell an all-inclusive prep kit for the LT2 IM for $45. It does at the time of this posting show they are out of stock, but you can see what's included and pick most of those parts up yourself. The MAP sensor harness extender is a little short for how I'd like to see it routed. At least mine came a little short. If you really know your parts you can pick up the connectors and do your own wiring to extend the harness yourself. Don't forget to shave the bottom on the manifold. If you're trying not to modify that brake booster line, I think you're just going to struggle. I used a heat gun and pulled the line of the IM side of the check valve and replaced it with the supplied hose and brass barb fitting. I also have my vacuum block for my BOV tapped inline here as well. I felt there was enough going on at the front of the IM I didn't want that vacuum block muddying up the works just hanging out.

the 2 that I have others have used but I can't seem to get the end of that booster line in, it's either the outside is to big or the inner isn't big enough to accommodate that 3/8's sleeve internally

Are you trying to fiddle with it while it's on the car or are you dry fitting the ends on the work bench? If it's installed, I'd remove it so you can see what's what. A smaller caliper tool can measure up those OD/ID's and put it to rest which is too big or small. You could try a reaming tool on the end of the plastic fitting and just shave it a bit if it's supposed to be an ID fit, the end could be burred and causing the issue. Otherwise, I highly recommend a barbed fitting and rubber vacuum line. A little heat on the IM side of the check valve to pull the plastic line off and slide the rubber line on, clamp it, and it's done.
