Traction Control ON/OFF

I was searching and couldn't find any topic on this.

Do most of you drive with Traction Control ON or OFF.

All nannies on all the time. Sport mode still allows wheel spin. Plenty of smiles per mile without having to turn off TC.

All off the vast majority of the time. The cruise doesn’t work, in Track mode, so I’ll turn as much off as I can while using cruise.

Always on, unless I am leaving a car show. I have always wanted to go viral on YouTube.

In that case, hearfelt congratulations

On topic, I hardly ever turn mine off, the booty spins like a Vegas roulette wheel on my 5 year old tires even with TC on (reminder to self, get a new set of tires ASAP). I'm not stock though.

Then you need a Mustang!

All nannies always off unless I'm on the track, then PTM Race mode.

Always off in my C6's and always on on the C7. Now tires last me 3 times longer in the 7.

Always on. Don't want to end up like the Mustang guy leaving a car show.

This zl1 is the most powerful car I’ve ever owned or driven, and the most expensive so traction control is on. Until it’s time to burn off the stock tires for new ones

When I had my stock SS wheels/tires I had a few times going down on ramps where I would punch it and apparently I got enough wheel spin that Traction Control pulled a LOT of timing and the car fell flat on it's face (I honestly thought somehow I hit the rev limited a couple times (I have an A10) but then I finally caught the Traction Control light flashing as it did this)... I started driving with it off and this never happened again (it was quite embarrassing & aggravating)... Now that I ditched the run-flats and I have SS 1LE spec wheels and tires, I have a LOT more traction than I did before and really don't run into this issue but I still typically run with basic TC OFF... (I learned to drive in Chicago, during the winter in a rear wheel drive car that had absolutely no traction control or other nannies (1980 Oldsmobile Cutlass))... The 1LE wheels/tires have made a huge difference... So much more grip and go!

That happened to me today. I had to punch it to get on the freeway and my A10 with TC on felt like it hit the rev limiter and had no power. It felt like tranny didn't shift and it was stuck in 1st gear or something even though I had it in drive.

Is that what the TC ON can cause the car to do?
