Smile Cam questions

Hey, do I need any sort of fueling other then stock if I get a ss3 cam or a vvt3 cam with the 32% fuel lobe? Also torque converter wise, can I run stock A10 torque converter for a while or is it a necessity to change? I'm currently fbo headers, intake, 95 mm throttle body, flex fuel, etc. Also I am going to get forged pistons as well, any recommendations?
Thanks in Advance!

GPI says you will need a torque converter with the SS2 and anything larger. You won’t need more fueling if you are staying NA with the ss3, with the exception of a sending unit upgrade, like the tank pump from the ZL1. If you have a 1LE, then you already have the larger sending unit. If you just really want pistons, id do a drop in piston/rod combo. GPI offers one. In my opinion, there is no need for pistons if you are staying NA. Depending on what intake you have now, it might be worth upgrading to something like the MSD or HiRam, but that also depends on what you want to do with the car.

As I have a Stage 1 cam or SS1 equivalent for GPI, You can use a stock converter with those, and they are still Supercharger capable.

SS2+ cams are very unfriendly when it comes to street ability. More so SS3+

In general SS3 and SS4's are for boosted applications from what I know.

You can get away with an SS2 unboosted, but as others have said converter becomes a problem.

I am on a stock LT1 fuel system with my cam, which is more than capable of providing what the cam needs, but if I go boosted, I'll need to upgrade the fuel system and possibly switch to port injection over direct injection.

Actually, I think GPI has specific cams for boost and NA, I believe stuff like the SS1, SS2, SS3, SS4, and NFC cams are for NA application. They do Have blower cams which are named “PDx” etc…

My mistake, I assumed they were similar to BTR cams, which is what I have.
