[2023_ZL1-AUTO]

I was a bit surprised at our local Car's and Coffee meet up this morning! Jerry and I had the only Camaro ZL1's in the lot (and both mod's by Katech). There were a ton of Doge Challengers (saw an indigo blue one that really looked nice!) and a lot of Mustang's. But, only (2) ZL1's which is rare and for sure not the norm ! The car beside me... that's a 120mm Katech throttle body!

Nice, I'm usually the only ZL1 at my local cars and coffee and I typically park up front with the supercars to spoil their party. There will typically be many Mustang GTs, an S550 GT500 or two, a couple of Lambos, couple of GT-Rs, one or two Ferraris, a couple of McLarens, R8s, GT3s, 911s, Corvettes, a Supra or two (or a few if the local group plans to attend the meet), and a number of imports and a few classics. I think it's a pretty good mix. What we don't have are the ultra-exotics or hyper cars. I've never seen a Bugatti or Pagani, for example, nor have I seen an Aventador yet.

I'm usually the only Camaro at my local C&C, let alone getting another ZL1 there. There are 2 other Zs in my area but they are garage queens, a 2017 with 2000 miles and a 2018 with just a hair over 4000 miles. My 23 has rolled past 12K with many more coming this summer.

I went to a recent C&C and there were over 500 vehicles
And only 2 ZL1’s ….seems to be a rare car.

I see a few 6th gen Camaro’s here and there. Mostly cloned up fake ZL1’s and particularly bad ZLE clones. That’s here in SoCal.

These cars are more of a rare bird than we think. It's sort of a shame but at the same time it's really cool to be one of the more unique vehicles on the road.

I've seen a few clone fake ZL1's as well where I'm at. It's kind of annoying because you know that they are fake. If you ever see a red hot Z with bronze Apex rims in socal toss a wave over at me and I'll do the same!

It's no dodge viper, but it's rare for sure, just look at the production numbers. It's a shame because people buy Dodges and Mustangs and have no idea how well these things put the power down. This was chevys cinderella

I agree about Z's being "rare". I got mine September of '22 and since I've had mine I've only seen ONE other ZL1 driving around and I'm pretty sure it was a 2018 one at that. Even prior to me getting mine, I honestly dont remember seeing another one. I'm sure there are some around here that people have, but ZL1's are NOT seen very often...Chargers, Challengers, Mustangs and C8's are more frequently seen FAR MORE than ZL1's here. I actually kind of like it that way. Makes mine FEEL more special.

I see 3 or 4 of them around my area. Maybe once a week or every other week. It turns out, there is a guy that lives right down the road from me with a ZL1 1LE. Had no idea until we started talking at a Cars and Tacos event.

You can't really lump all the Chargers, Challengers, Mustangs and C8's together as a whole, and compare them to ZL1 sightings. More like Demons, GT350's or GT500's, or the C8 Z06. The top dog vs top dog, because there are plenty of plain Jane Camaro's out there to go along with your plain Jane Chargers, Challengers, Mustangs and C8's.
