LT2 corvette intake manifold cover modification
Hello everyone, I just wanted to share what I got done with my lt2 intake manifold cover. My friend has a graphics business and he hooked me up and did an amazing job on my intake cover. Here are some photos I attached at the bottom. He can also do what ever color you want the Camaro letters to be to be or any way you would like to modify it. His name is Luis and you can contact him if you are interested in modifying your lt2 intake manifold cover. His business is called Moo Moo Graphics and you can email him at sales@moomoographics.com. I think he posted a short video of him making it on Facebook and twitter. Look up Moo Moo graphics on any of those platforms.

I agree, the uncovered LT2 "Egg Carton" is not appealing at all, but this cover looks really nice...

I like the plates. I'm just going to use the Corvette plates for now since I black chromed them, but would dig some engraved/inlaid Camaro plates. I was thinking of having the plates wrapped in a matte finish and then have someone hand brush "Camaro" or "Supercharged" on it, then sealed.
I did a rattle can job myself, it was going well until I had to mask the metallic clear on black, when I removed the masking it pulled off some of the clear. I sprayed over it but it didn't fill in like I thought it would, so in light you can see the under layer that had been pulled off. It's my first attempt so I'm okay with it for now. At some point, wear/tear will warrant sanding it down and re-applying and I'll do better lol. Here's mine, I like the metallic & mystic clear. Obviously not on the car yet:

How is the under hood fitment for you guys on the cover? Im about to do an LT2 intake in a couple weeks and would love to use the cover but have seen all kinds of issues with fitment on the site here. Rubs when the hood is closed?

This was my exact concern. From my understanding you will have to shave it down in the front where it rubs. If you plan on painting in the cover its not a bad idea to shave it down first and cover up the imperfection with paint.

Both of those look better than "egg carton" 2SS Capt refers to it as for sure.
One of the reasons I never moved forward with it for mine as I could not stand that non covered look. The covered look with Corvette on it would drive me crazy as well.
