thermostat housing guard
I recently installed a thermostat housing guard from udaddy.com which is a high quality piece to protect the fragile plastic thermostat housing of the LT4. It could save frustrating or catastrophic failure if the supercharger belt breaks. For road course use this piece would be cheap insurance.

Well that's genius -- I've never seen that part.
I went through this whole ordeal. See here: https://www.camaro6.com/forums/showp...1&postcount=34 I ended up going with a billet thermostat housing which solves the issue, but I bet this item is much less expensive

I was considering having my machine shop at work make me something like this. I think this will be an easier route. I was considering a billet housing but can't seem to get and answer on a "good" thermostat to use with it. This also shouldn't effect any kind of warranty work down the road.

I also placed my order! I didn't want to give up my Katech Thermostat in the stock lt4 housing, so this is perfect. Thanks for sharing!
