Tcm unlock error
I got my Tcm unlocked by hptuners last week and installed it today. When I went to ready the file I got this message is this normal?

Is there like a step by step on how to do this? I didn’t get no steps from hptuners other than the tcm was unlocked and mailed back

There is a process in vcm scanner to replace a tcm. Don’t remember the specifics but you might want to look into that.

Yea I seen that I’m suppose to get a replace tcm option but I don’t get that button

Is this the same process for the Camaro? But this is for new tcms I kept my old one and just had it unlocked

No I have the regular hptuners software have been for like a year. When I get home I’ll try to download the latest beta

Ok I’m back again so this time when I tried flashing in the new file it’ll just let me flash the ecm not the tcm. I tried flashing the tcm by itself and everytime it tries the tcm it says failed to process flash data is this normal

Sorry if I’m going back and forth but after reading the file from the car after flashing both ecm and tcm from the car I comprared it to the same file sent to me and it didn’t flash in the changes made in the trans tab

If it failed to process flash data you don’t have the necessary internet connection. Even after you change the tune on the tcm, it will always show a stock calibration if you read the file back out.
