Eibach Pro Kit Ride Quality
Hi,
I purchased my ‘17 used (8k miles). It already had the Pro Kit installed. I find the ride a bit bouncy and unsettled as I drive on less than perfect roads. I have no experience with the OEM springs and I’m debating having them put back on. From those who have experience with OEM springs and the Eibach Pro Kit, how does the ride compare? I’ve had performance cars my entire adult life so I’m not new to stiff suspensions however I consider this to be a bit unsettled and it bottoms out once in a while. Not a 1LE btw Thanks in advance. |

I've had my Eibach's for over 3 years now, I have no issues with the ride quality. In fact after they were installed I don't even recall it being any worse than stock. If you're getting a bouncy ride and bottoming out, it may be your shocks that need to be replaced.

2nd - Literally no difference in ride quality, and I just put mine on 5 months ago. You most likely have a strut/shock issue.

Thank you for the feedback. I wonder if Eibach perhaps changed the specs over time since mine were installed in ‘17. I’ll check the struts/shocks but with only 8k miles I would be surprised if they were failing

8k miles isn't a lot but being a used car, it really depends on how the car was driven before. If the previous owner drove over a lot of really bad roads, pot holes, etc...it could have prematurely worn them out.
