Buying 2018 ZL1 at Stokes Toyota in Hilton head...anyone here own that one?
Hi Fellas,
I am flying out tomorrow to get my used 2018 metallic gray Zl1! It has a stage one kit from a guy named Justin Myatt in Georgia. Looks and sounds good, but it sure would be nice to hear from anyone on the forum who might know the owner so I can pick his brain about it. My main concern is clutch condition and rear diff....it has NITTO drag radials on it, so he obviously was drag racing the car. Not sure if drag racing is hard on the rear diff or not? It is a 6 speed and has some kind of F1 diamond shape floor matts in it. Anyone here know the car or the owner or both? Thanks!! Pete

I live right here in Savannah and after some Facebook stalking I found that he might be the owner of Myatt's Garage located in Pooler, GA. I'd look up his number and give him a call and see what he can tell you.
Drag racing is hard on the entire driveline. I'm not much into the drag racing scene with the ZL1 so I can't say how much power it can handle before it starts to show signs of wear or blows up. |
