E85 content limit

Hi folks,

I’ve got a 2023 Camaro zl1 with a cam and supporting mods. I have a 32% fuel lobe on my cam as well. I was wondering how much e85 content I will be able to run without having an aux pump.

Do you have a JMS already in place?

So, I'm kind of going though this now with my 2023 ZL1. But I have a stock CAM and from what I understand, the CAM isn't my bottle neck. The bottle neck is the high-side fuel pressure which runs out of capacity when running e85 or a mix related to high-side high-side fuel pressure command. What other members here have indicated to me, along with other well respected tuners is I need more high side for running e85/mix and that's what the JMS FuelMax Booster helps with. So It you look at my post(s) here is a response that starts the whole explaining of my situation.

Post #208 is where my FlexFuel posts start:

Good Luck !!!

You need one and then you'll be good to run full E85 and your fueling should be good to run up to a 12% pulley.

In my current configuration I run a JMS/32% lobed cam and I run a 12% overdrive lower pulley on E80-E81. It's just about maxed out on fueling short of swapping out injectors, but it makes some solid power over what OE capabilities are.

Long story short, if you want to fill up fully pump E then you'll need a JMS. If you don't want to do a JMS then you'll need a drop in fuel pump solution.

What cam are you running? Looks like you are making 700 wheel?
