Quick switching tunes?
One of my buddies has a built vw and he is able to change his tunes at the touch of a button. Like he has his daily driving tune and then various race tunes where he is changing the boost amount and timing advance pretty much on the fly.
Has anybody here put together something like that for the gen 6 camaro? |

Im pretty sure that VW is running a piggyback tuner which is able to switch on the fly because it’s modifying the signals to the engine to “trick” it live. All the tuners ive seen for the camaro ar a flash tune where the ecu is resetting with the new tune file being downloaded to it so its like resetting a computer where it needs to turn off.

The efilive dsp is only for e98 diesels for some reason

Mountune has switch on the fly tunes also. I have it on my Fusion, it's cool. It has a low traction/bad weather tune that cuts the boost down to like 5psi, it has a bad gas tune that pulls a few degrees of timing, then the full power tune. Uses the cruise control button and the tach to tell you what tune you are on.
I think this has been brought up before but I haven't seen switchable maps for the Camaro.

LOADING tune files from your cell phone
