Tall/big ppl w 1le
Idk if it’s true, but i read a cpl posts saying the recaros don’t recline well.
I’m 6’6 300 lbs. I’ve never sat in a 6th gen. Any input from the bugger guys here. THANKS! |

I was around 290 when I bought it and the seats were snug but not terrible. I am 6'3 (all torso) and just barely fit with a helmet on. Plenty of legroom, just tight on the headroom. Definitely go sit in a 6th gen, and bring your helmet if you have one.

6'6 call it 270 summer and 280 winter. I fit in mine very well all things considered. Helmet it gets tight but I can find a seating position for track and autocross where I can still slip a piece of paper between my helmet and roof :-) Fair warning, you won't like the Recaros until they break in to your rear end, but it will happen.

Normal car is fine but with moonroof you are effed. Yes I know you cant get moonroof in 1LE, so you should be ok. But with my normal ZL1 at 6"1 my hair was touching the roof and with a helmet I had to recline way back and drive like a gangster. It was terrible. If I were to get another, no moonroof for me.

5'11 285 former college fullback. So I'm wide and broad shouldered, I actually love the seats sans the headrest.
They are very supportive and I fit just fine, getting in/out isn't an issue at all. |

6'3" 320lbs and I fit ok, seats are tight, helmet is a bit tight. At 6'6" you might be tight in there, I'd go try to drive one and make sure.

5’11 310 lbs big bone with stomach . Lol. I consider myself a big due to my stomach. Love the way seat fits . No issues at all.
If I have one it would be need to have my door all the way open to get out , otherwise it is not happening . Have not gotten to the track yet so not helmet .

Thanks for replies guys.
I had 3rd and 4th gens and was fine but that was many years and 60-70 lbs ago. I have an order in on a 1le. I’m just worried about the seats mostly. |

At 6'1" I'm not super tall, but I've been at 270 a while ago and my Recaros were still quite comfy. There is miles of legroom if you need it. There's plenty of headroom for me, even with a helmet, but at 6'6" headroom could start to get tight depending on how you're proportioned. Just don't get a sunroof!
