Anyone else tempted to sell?

I really like my car, but I don't know if I really love it. I checked Kelly Blue Book, Autotrader, and Facebook Marketplace again today. It looks like I could make some bucks on mine. And this is after buying it new, but below sticker price. It's a 2020 1SS, bare bones but it has $200 option factory wheels. And it's Rally Green, maybe makes it worth more being 1 year only color, and a low production year too. Of course all recent years are low production! Grey interior also makes it more rare I think. That's it for options. Only things I've done so far are skip shift eliminator and did the seat mod so they recline all the way back. Only 17K miles on it.

I don't really have a specific question, just wandering if anyone else has had the same types of thoughts and what insight you have. Just drive the wheels off it while modifying it, and value be damned? Or sell it, buy another cheaper toy, or just enjoy a flush bank account?

If you're selling to buy a 2024 edition, then sure!

I'm sure several of us are thinking about putting in 2024 orders with the idea of selling our current models - just because of the last hurrah.

How about a 4th option? Drive it and keep it in great condition. No more mods, and careful, respectful (non destructive) driving. When you are absolutely certain that you want to sell it, do so. Your car will command a great price because you've taken great care of it.

Well, considering the only Camaro I own is 1:24 scale die-cast Nascar, my answer is I'm NEVER selling! Really though, I'm waiting to see if Ash Grey will be offered for 2024 and putting a deposit down on a LT1 as soon as possible. I couldn't imagine wanting to sell it. Reason #1- if you do sell and buy another cheaper sports car, it won't be the same. The Camaro to me is the pinnacle of the V8 American muscle car. Nothing close to this will ever be sold again. There will be other cheaper sport cars for years to come. Reason #2- I had my 1990 Civic from 2015 that finaly croaked Chrismas. Kept that thing rollin' till it could roll no more. I get very attached to my automobiles. That being said, depending on your finances and what you enjoy, it's kinda what bakes your cookies. Whatever you deside, best wishes.

Price is higher because new MSRP is considerably higher. Also, tax refunds are inflating car prices. I'm about to sell my daily since I don't drive much anymore. Two months ago, Carvana was offering 3 grand less. If you're selling to buy a new Camaro, IMO don't think its worth it unless they put out a z28 with a special engine like LT2. Otherwise, skip the appearance package.

I won't be selling mine anytime soon.

You could command a premium for the green color, from what I've seen.

I’m opposed to purchasing from GM because of their EV plans. Having said that a sufficiently appealing 2025 Z28 might convince me to trade in my 2018.

Nope I’m keeping my 2017 ZL1 basically stock with no mods except cat back exhaust when the stock system gets bad enough to replace. If I were you I would keep yours! Rally Green was a rare color and sometimes I wish I had a Rally Green ZL1 but mine is fine enough for me at this stage in my life.

I would sell my ZL1 manual if i could get the right money. I miss my C7 and would go back to one, but a Z06 manual this time.

I had a 16 Stingray I did a centri blower ( A&A kit) and ARH long tubes,

Not at all. If I were to sell this car, I would be stuck in a performance car void. Already had a S197 Mustang, and the Mopars are way too much money. Scat Pack wide body's are well into the mid-50's if not worse, and I couldn't justify some 10-15 thousand more than what I paid for this car.

Nope, love my current car with the shared data / communication fuse pulled. In general, I dislike GM’s overall business model, so this is probably my last GM.

Keeping mine. Fits my needs/wants for a fun weekend car that has a V8 and convertible.
My wife and I looked at the Lexus LC 500, but was more than we wanted to spend.
Not sure what I could get for under 50k that has the same options.
