Rear Vier Camera Mirror

I am curious how many of you keep this on all the time? Is it meant to stay on?

I did. Only had mine for a year, but I loved it. Mainly because its like looking at a monitor not a mirror. So you can turn the rearview mirror up and out of the way and still see behind you perfectly. You dont need to have it lined up to function like a mirror anymore. It frees up a ton of outward forward visibility when you can turn the mirror up and away vs having it lower and center so you can see through the mirror through the back.

I dont like it thought I thought that I would and wanted to give it a try. It really doesn't aid my vision and I'm deeply used to the outward vis on the car without it. Plus I just don't like the look of it.

I get motion sickness very easily. It def affected that at first. I just got used to it one day and haven't turned it off since.

The five-oh comment. Absolutely true, lol. Especially when so many different lights have that flicker in it. You basically think everyone is a cop out of the corner of your eye. Song w/ sirens in it - forget it!

The next curious thing would be sorting by age of those who use it and do not

I have it on my GMC Sierra Denali Ultimate, on all the time. And like FarmerFran, on top up, off top down. The bright daylight washes out the images. I hope I always will have one in future vehicles.
