ZL! 1LE Pricing
I've been patiently waiting for a couple big dealers I deal with to get an allocation but nothing in the last 4 months. Finally got a call today that they have a 2023 black ZLE incoming but its an auto instead of manual. My preferred pricing is $69K. Is that reasonable in today's market and should I hold out for the manual or strike when the picking is good as I may not get another shot. Has everything incl PDR.

If it has every option, the list price should be well over $80,000 with the automatic. If they will sell it for $69,000, it’s a great deal! I’m talking U.S. pricing, so if you mean Canadian $, then it’s incredible.

A manual ZL1 without the 1LE option is $68.7k and the auto is $70.3k. The 1LE option adds $7.5k on top of that so your $69k offer will be not even be considered for a ZL1 with the 1LE option.
If this vehicle had been sitting on the lot for months then they might have entertained the $69k offer but it won't be there long. You can find used ones for $69k and less but if you want new, then you're going to have to pay the actual MSRP. Camaro is being discontinued next year so adopting for a strike or a deal isn't going to happen. |

I just paid 62k for a used 2020 w/ 16k miles. I don't think you going to get that price range and summer is coming.

You are going to be close to $79k if it has options. You are lucky to find a non 1LE ZL1 for $69k.

I paid $68k for mine new, but that was in 2019 -- before the pandemic, before the supply chain issues, before inflation price increases, before the insane new & used prices of the last couple of years. Sticker was $74,585. Sticker on a 2023 with same options is right around $77k. A10 brings that sticker to just under $80k.
I find it hard to believe any dealer would let a ZLE with a sticker north of $75k go for $69k in the current market conditions. Is it reasonable? Absolutely. If you can get the car for that price, do it -- 100% EDIT: prices above are in USD

I'm going to ask for the build sheet as it is not on the dealer lot but in transit to their location. $69k was USD... the price in CDN is $94k (I did the conversion as most of the folks on here are south of the boarder).

Manual vs Auto is a personal preference and most people i know would wait and get what they want. With rumors that camaro might see a MY24, you should wait and get a manual. Again getting an allocation might be a hit or miss.

I highly, highly doubt they will drop down the price down that much for a new ZL1 1LE. You can try and see what they say but with it being new and no rebates (at least here in the US), they aren't going to much below MSRP. If they do, they might drop it down at most $1k USD or offer it to you at MSRP with some side deal like lifetime oil changes or better warranty (which is completely useless and do not take that offer). |

69k usd is 94k cad, which is probably at or close to msrp for a ZLE in canada. (The ZLE starts at 90k cad in canada).
A base ZL1 A10 in the USA is 70k usd = 96k cad, A base ZL1 A10 in canada is 80k cad = 58k usd. Meaning a base ZL1 is 12k usd cheaper in canada, so this is gonna look like a steal to our brothers down south. |
