P0341 post cam install
Hey all,
Just reaching out to the forums to see if anyone else has had the same issue. Just finished the cam install on my 2022 ZL1. It starts, runs, and drives with no real issues, but I do have the CEL throwing the P0341. I know it's the cam position sensor bank A, but I am 100% positive the timing is good. I spent a decent amount of time ensuring that. It starts up with no issues, idles like a cammed car, drives (drivability sucks, still working through the tuning process). Did some research on doing a crank relearn procedure, not sure that would fix much, but I did put an ATI damper and a bigger lower pulley on it. Any input is greatly appreciated! |

Take that back. I'm now getting a P050D and a P0300. Rough idle and random misfire. Does that change anyone's thoughts on what the issue might be?

Update: adjusted the idle up 100 RPMs, car seemed to like that. CEL went away and has stayed away for 3 consecutive starts. Will report back as I continue to make changes.

Im new to the 6th gen ZL1 stuff, but installed several cams in the LS engines, and it would always give random misfire codes so would have to ignore that code for CEL with hptuners, or just have tuner do it while tuning. How was the install? did you pull the engine or do it in the car, im contemplating doing this myself

![]() Pulling it makes everything you need to do much easier. From setting timing to RTVing the timing cover and oil pan back on to torqueing head bolts/studs, it was much easier. Plus, you don't have to worry about disassembling the front of the car, which was a giant PITA. Save yourself the time in the long run and pull that sucker! |
