20 psi boost stock motor

So got GPI drop ins with stock lt5 cam same spec as stock just no dod. headers meth fuel all good. Made 685 on pump amnd meth at 13.5 pds.

Give me some input on what everyone thinks it might make with 21 22 pds 93 and meth. Have the fuel so no worries their no knock. Dont have enough fuel system for E

Thanks for any input.

btw the 744 is e 60 yes 685 to 744 with e60

No way I'd run 20 psi of boost on 93 octane and meth.

Kerry, 20PSI BOOST and 93 with METH would be a time bomb unfortunately. This level of boost really should have E85 and things like ARP studded heads and studded bottom end with ARP rod bolts. Some people even O-RING the block at this level of boost.

You can get super crazy when you chase a HIGH HP number. THIS for instance is video of a boosted car that makes 1500 HP and the block is an LME piece that is made out of BILLET Aluminum. ALL the things that make this work and reliable make this easily a 50K motor. This one is running around 35 pounds of boost with F1X procharger.

When you say 21-22#, I assume you're talking intake manifold absolute pressure (boost + barometric)?

This graph is wrong. I dont know why or the cause but i know the d1x does not have a boost curve like this. I know nothing about a d1sc.

Found when searching d1sc vs d1x

5000 13.82 745 tq
5500 16.61 about 745 tq
6000 19.32 about 740
max hp 852 tq 750
Stock cam and heads
pump 93 and meth

da was 2100 ft

What I logged today on the dyno

3200 is 4 pds but at 60 % throttle not even full throttle barley closed the blow off valve I guess it was closed maybe not even all the way

The OP did not mention he has gapped the rings at all. If he has not, the ring [problem might not manifest in a just a couple or even a few short dyno runs. But when it does . . .

rings are gapped at exactly 22 top and bottom. GPI drop ins. blower is spinning about 59000. No shortage of pulls on this car. We did about 20 on the dyno. Started first pull was 766 i think. Last was 895. That pull went that power from 5800 to 6500 flat because it went 10.0 all pump 93 shell and m1 meth.

I been doing hits for days before I got their, taking advantage of spring in February lol. Some how the street fuel and the dyno fuel needed to be a little different, and making changes ect. Did not change timing at all no knock.

Found out how to stop the dip at top end too,,, YAAHOO! That was super annoying. Blower has 900 miles on it now. Ill probly keep it, now that i know what it can do. Beast I tell ya beast.

The print out I got was uncorrected so best i can tell with online sae calculators it would be about 10 hp or so more as da was around 2100. I did ck the weather.
